In the late 70s, Steve and Robin Moseley opened up an upholstery business in Aiken (Steve and Robin's upholstery)
After a little over 20 years of upholstery, they decided to start a car lot with still doing upholstery on the side. Starting off with just a few cars, they turned it into a small buy here pay here dealership and decided to name it S&R Auto Sales (Steve and Robin).
Since then, S&R Auto Sales has grown into one of the largest family owned Buy Here Pay Here dealerships in the CSRA.
In 2016, Steve decided to retire and passed the dealership down to the next generation, his daughter, Melissa Moseley. Melissa now runs S&R Auto Sales with her husband, Chris.
