In the 1970s, Steve and Robin Moseley opened Steve and Robin’s Upholstery in Aiken, South Carolina. After nearly two decades of hard work and dedication to their craft, they decided to expand their passion for vehicles into a new venture. In 1996, they opened S&R Auto Sales—named after themselves—while continuing to offer upholstery services on the side.
What began with just a few cars quickly grew into a trusted, family-run Buy Here Pay Here dealership, built on honesty, integrity, and customer care.
Over the years, S&R Auto Sales has become one of the largest family-owned Buy Here Pay Here dealerships in the CSRA. In 2016, Steve retired and passed the business to the next generation—his daughter Melissa, who now operates the dealership alongside her husband, Chris.
